The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce lauded Venice Regional Bayfront Health for its substantial investment in the community at the Chamber’s 96th Annual Membership Meeting and Salute to Business Awards on October 7. The capacity crowd in the Hyatt Regency’s ballroom applauded Venice Regional for “Investing in the Future” with more than $20 million invested in facility improvements and clinical technologies over the past two years.
“We appreciate the Chamber’s recognition of the investments we’ve made to enhance patient experience and support our caregivers in their work to provide quality patient care,” said John McLain, Venice Regional CEO. “Ultimately, our physicians, staff and volunteers are the heart and soul of Venice Regional; our capital investments are focused on supporting them in their efforts.”
Venice Regional recently announced plans to construct a replacement hospital in the Venice area.
“We’re proud to have served Venice and the surrounding areas for more than 65 years and look forward to doing so for many more,” McLain said.
