Party in Pink at Venice Regional Shines Spotlight on Women’s Health

More than 200 women attended the seventh annual “Party in Pink” women’s health event presented by Venice Regional Bayfront Health on October 20 at Venice HealthPark. Physicians provided tips on how to stay healthy and spoke one-on-one with participants. A highlight of the evening, Sandi Wilmink of Venice spoke about her victory over Stage II breast cancer. Breast cancer awareness vendors also were on hand to share information about their products and services. Among the exhibitors were representatives from Mammo Money, Venice Regional’s assistance program that helps cover mammogram screening costs for women who cannot afford breast cancer exams.
